:: I was working in the office last night, and could feel the sun pouring in on me...and just happened to look out through the window and saw the beautiful sunset on the left. I grabbed the camera and throught it was a gorgeous sight. After I came back in, I continued at my computer. And looked out once more, about three minutes later, and saw the image on the right.
It amazes me how much difference three little minutes can make!!!
I had accepted the gift of the first sunset as a little smile from God, and I took time out to document it and enjoy it...and then I moved right along. Only that wasn't all God had in store for me, and I almost missed it. I'm so glad that I didn't because it truly filled my heart with joy. Sometimes we have to go deeper than surface value to seek out more than we expect...
:: Had a delicious lunch with Kim today!!!! Really enjoyed our time together...
:: P90X week 2 has begun!!! I felt good during the workout today, but was super tired afterwards. I had a pretty sleepy morning at work! My body is feeling good and I am noticing slight changes. I was disgruntled though, when I weighed in this morning. I was exactly the same. I had heard stories from people I know about the amount of weight they had lost in the first weight. One woman even lost 8 pounds! And I lost...none. Blah. I ate a ton of food last week though, the insane workout really made me starving all week!!! I don't want to lose a ton, maybe 7 pounds or so. I just really really want to tone up. So, I will be patient. And today began a more restrictive diet for me...and I did pretty darn well. Onward I go...
