For winning first place in the wedding division, and Best of Show for the scrapbook division, I won $6 (I paid $1 to enter), a $25 gift card to Walmart, and a Close to My Heart stamp gift set with three stamp sets and two idea books. Pretty darn cool!
:: On the way to the fairgrounds, I had some misfortune though...on the highway, going 70mph, I was behind a pick up truck. The truck changed lanes, and as it went, it threw up a rock and it hit my windshield. It left a very tiny hole, right near the edge of the metal. So close to not even hitting glass. However, the angle must've been just perfect because it shot a crack across the windshield that is about 12-15 inches long. The perfect end to my day, for sure.
:: Pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon for dinner...yum...
:: My hubby paid me the best compliment over the weekend! He told me, out of the blue, that it looks like my calves are getting smaller! Ha!!! Anyone who knows me knows that I have huge calves (my gym teacher in high school even nicknamed me Calves)...so, I guess P90X is doing some good already! :) I have lost one pound, but that's better than none. Aiming for another this week. Did a great chest/shoulder/ab workout this morning. Cardio tomorrow!

Yuck to the windhsield crack! Gary got one during softball games that we are going to have to have replaced also. blah!
