:: Reported for jury duty this morning, for the first time ever...sat through a round of "I'm not eligibles" and a round of "I'm exempt" (so why were they there, why didn't they just fill out the green form and mail it in???), and then came the next round of why people thought they should be excused. I stood in the line and told her that I am currently in training for a management position with a woman who is moving soon. She took my card and sent me back to my seat. At the end, she had too many cards, so she somehow made a decision and pared down the list. She called off names of those who could leave, and my name thankfully was called!
:: Feeling unsick now, but left with a nagging cough that makes me wheezy after awhile, and what I believe to be the makings of a nice sinus infection. Should just buck up and go get a shot in the rump and get it gone.
:: My husband is addicted to his iPhone.
:: I made some delicious chicken last night!!! I marinated the flattened chicken breasts in buttermilk for one hour...then bread them with a mixture of ground panko and almonds. Oh my. That was the most tender chicken I've ever eaten. Sooo yum! Forgot all the rest...it's buttermilk for me from this point forward!!! Give it a try and let me know what you think!
:: I'm nearing the end of Love & War by John & Stasi Elderedge. I really just love the way they write, and the book is full of so much goodness. I just want to soak it all in and apply every last thing. What can I do to remember it all?
