sickly weekend

:: A sickly weekend to end a sickly week. Blah. I am tired of being sick and of having a sick family! Started with Chris, then I got it, then Aspen, now Mimi. I had a few bad days and a really sore throat. Finally my throat has stopped hurting but now I am a snotty stuffy mess. This has taken a nice toll on my P90X workouts and that ticks me off!!!! I missed two workouts this week. Was feeling better yesterday so I did kenpo, and then I took a nosedive! Hopefully tomorrow will bring a nice healthy body.

:: Aspen had another cross country meet, and with her being sick, it wasn't her greatest. None this season have really been up to par with what she is capable of, but I did get this fun photo of her rounding the corner during the race...

:: I unfortunately have to report for Jury Duty in the morning! Blah! I am quite hopeful that I won't have to stay past the first round. I have never experienced jury duty, so we will see. At work, now is definitely not the time to be out. We have three gone on sabbatical, my boss is gone at a convention, and I'm trying desperately to learn everything I can from the girl who is leaving very soon. Ug.

:: This coming Saturday I am hosting the monthly scrapbook crop at our house...looking very forward to the day with my buddies. I've got some pages preplanned and will hopefully accomplish some.

:: I designed some baby announcements for a friend/coworker...hopefully she will like one of the three options I gave her! Waiting to find out...

:: Desperately need to get a haircut...may try to get an appointment this week. Am thinking also that it is time for some highlights to cover the {ahem} grays, but that takes maintenance and money and we are trying to save right now. So maybe just the trim.

:: Chris is planting some pretty pansies in the front flower beds, in purple and gold...school colors :)

:: Gotta finish the laundry...
