:: We set our alarm and got up at 1:40 am this morning, to see the eclipse. I wasn't impressed, and am wondering if we either missed it, or if we didn't wait long enough. At any rate, we said, "hmmm" and went back to bed!
:: Had a delightful lunch with Kim today at Zookinis! Our salads were very tasty, and our conversation even better. And we did Christmas gifts too!! I received an adorable necklace with little birdies on it, and a very cute bird planter! Yes, I've got a thing for cute birds! I found 3 canvas paintings at Bed Bath and Beyond, and I think I will use some of my Christmas money to buy them for my new scrapbook room! She added in a few other goodies too...I was overwhelmed!!
:: The only down side to our lunch was that our waitress dropped potato soup all over me. My work clothes (black pants, long sleeve shirt, sweater vest), my purse, my chair, even in Kim's gift bag a little! She was so embarrassed, and I tried to be polite as I could. It wasn't her fault, I know she didn't do it on purpose. A little later, the two ladies sitting next to us came over on their way out. One said to me, "Can I hug your neck? You were so sweet to that girl". So I guess I handled it well! To the dry cleaners I go!
:: My uncle Kevin is having knee surgery Wednesday, please say a little prayer for him...
:: Time to re-lax!!!

I had a wonderful lunch with you today! Always a great time when we get to go have some time together like that. Thanks so much for my Kindle money! I am heading over to Amazon now to see what I may just want to spend my $$ on!
You DID handle the potato soup spill VERY well. I'm not so sure I would have handled it so well.
