Happy Valentine's Day to all! I hope you enjoyed a little sweetness today from your loved ones!
Chris and I went to a laid back dinner at Mary's, and then had to grocery shop. But Walmart wasn't too bad, and we didn't even have to wait in line! Something to be said about that!!
I got Chris a 12x12 canvas print of his running idol Ryan Hall...it turned out really well!! Hopefully he can find a place in his office for it. I also got him some of his favorite candies...
Chris gave me a beautiful black wooden plague (fairly large, really) with a great saying...THIS IS MY WISH FOR YOU: COMFORT ON DIFFICULT DAYS, SMILES WHEN SADNESS INTRUDES, RAINBOWS TO FOLLOW THE CLOUDS, SUNSETS TO WARM YOUR HEART, FAITH SO THAT YOU CAN BELIEVE, LAUGHTER TO KISS YOUR LIPS, COURAGE TO KNOW YOURSELF, HUGS WHEN SPIRITS SAG, PATIENCE TO ACCEPT THE TRUTH, BEAUTY FOR YOUR EYES TO SEE, CONFIDENCE FOR WHEN YOU DOUBT, FRIENDSHIPS TO BRIGHTEN YOUR BEING AND LOVE TO COMPLETE YOUR LIFE. It will look great in my new scrapbook room!! I also got a few 85% dark chocolate bars, my favorite dessert gum (strawberry shortcake), and my favorite fruit strips from Target.
We gave Aspen some of her favorite candies, some scented hot pink nail polish, and an 8x10 framed photo that I took of her and Ryan Hall.
And Mimi gave me a box of my favorite Earl Grey tea...
