today

:: Today was a darn good day! The best day I've had in awhile. At work, I got things DONE! I had a list and I scratched almost everything off! That has not happened in months. I hardly ever get a single thing on my list done anymore, I'm just pulled in so many other directions. If you know me at all, it should be pretty obvious that this is just what I needed. I prayed so hard yesterday to God to fill me up with his love and he showed it to me abundantly today in just the way he knew I needed. He knows me so well :)

:: It's interesting watching The Bachelor and having one of the final girls be a funeral director. The company we work for is centered around death and funerals and funeral directors and planning. We thought it would be really funny if when she was describing her interaction with the families, as the first person they are in contact with after the death, she pulled out a Thoughtful Decisions Guide!!! That's the planning folder we create for families who preplan their funerals...oh, Chris and I thought that one was real good. It was sad to see her leave the show, and to say no guy has ever treated her good like he did. She deserves it!

:: I decided today that I need to pow wow with my allergy doctor...I've been off my allergy shots for quite a few months now, and I was doing well for awhile. But, I've had a few sinus infections since stopping the shots, and this last one is hanging on and won't go away. It's to the point where I am wheezing at times, and that is never a good sign. My nose whistles, and at night when I'm sleeping Chris says it sounds like I'm gasping for air. So, a pow wow is in order...March 8 is my appointment...
