:: Friday evening, we had a delicious dinner at Famous Daves...I tried the blue cheese hamburger and it was delish! And can't beat their yummy corn muffins! Then we came home and watched "Angels and Demons", which was pretty good. Pretty suspenseful though, and I can't take much of that!
:: Saturday, after sleeping late, we headed to Lowes. For about 3 hours!! Whew, that drained the life right out of me! We were looking for materials to build a light fixture like this. It will go in Chris' wine room at the new house, and instead of buying the $400 lamp from Pottery Barn, he's going to attempt to make it himself. He found a woman's blog and she shows step by step instructions on how to create something very similar. We also looked at supplies to make my scrapbook table for the scrapbook room! Instead of buying the $1500 table from Pottery Barn, our very own Mr. Neeley is going to build me one for much much (MUCH) cheaper. I am sooo excited!!! Thanks for the inspiration PB! :)
:: I did a little side job recently and was able to make a little spending money. Which is nice! I finally found a pair of nude colored high heels today at Dillards. I have been looking for some for awhile. I wanted a basic pump (not a peep toe or sling back) and I had a specific color in mind that wouldn't clash horribly with my pale skin. I was pleased with these and will be able to wear them with anything. They are supposed to make your legs look longer because there is no color break between your skin and the shoe. We shall see!
:: Winkflash had a sale on their 4x6 photos, so I uploaded the 340 pics that I sized at the retreat and got those ordered. Yay! There is something quite exciting about receiving a big bundle of photos in the mail. And this will be a BIG bundle! They should be here Thursday...
