another day, more progress

More stone on the front...and they've wrapped around into the courtyard too...

Here I am in our kitchen!! Photo taken from the living room.

We asked Mitch the trim guy to create this for us in the laundry room. It has two "locker" sections that will have hooks for hanging jackets. Three cubbies above for baskets, and below we asked him to build us a built in storage trunk with a lid. He did a fabulous job, it is just what we wanted. It has bead board in the back, and will so good when it's painted. I believe that Chris has even secured a creative sewer (is that a word? seamstress? person who sews?) to make us a cushion for the top of the bench :)

And today they started putting in our septic tanks! No city water for us...should be interesting!
