so much house progress

Chris and I went to our house today at lunch to meet with the trim guy Mitch. They are ready to work on all of our closets, so he needed to know exactly what we wanted. He was very good and I felt very comfortable going over it all with him. It was a fast paced lunch hour, but we got it accomplished!

The most exciting thing, though, was that there has been so much progress on the house! We went out on Monday and it was just textured drywall...today, there was a plethora to take in! Every direction I turned was something new.



The stone progress on the front is slow going...it's a tricky puzzle, but they are doing such a great job with it. We love it!

This is the wood ceiling in the master bedroom...it will be stained a darker color, and where the black lines are will be big cedar beams. So pretty!

And kitchen cabinets!!! It is crazy how much it is starting to look like a home now. Just insane! They have to redo the sink area, since we'll be having a copper farm sink that will drop in. The door next to the drawers on the left is a place for two trash cans to be hidden.

This is the stove / fridge side...to the right of the fridge are three spice racks that pull out. One thing we really like about our builder is he tries to use all possible space for creative little things like this.

They're almost done with the trim and the moulding...there are now doors in place...and by the end of the week, the closets will be done too!

Moving right along...an exciting day for us!
