a few pics

:: We had a full weekend here...seems to be the case lately! Always something to be done on the house, and we made some good progress this weekend. I thought I would share a few pics!


Our dining area is looking good...just bought the rug today. I still need to find some kind of something for a centerpiece...still looking...

Our living room...we finally got our furniture! It looks so good! We call this room our "blank slate"...it is all neutrals and browns. We are having a very large custom painting done (8 ft x 5 ft) to go on that big empty wall behind the couch, and we are waiting to see what she comes up with to pull some colors out of there. Should be a lot of color, and will liven the room up drastically. Once we see colors, we will be getting two lamps for the end tables, and will most likely remove the dark chocolate couch pillows and replace them with color. It is a process...

My two scrapbook table stools are now in place!! So comfy, and just a nice finishing touch to my happy room!

The old fashioned popcorn machine in our media room! It's a fun little novelty item, and makes very yummy popcorn too! We have had movie night every weekend so far...this weekend, Neeley joined us and we watched "Blood Diamond"...

:: All of our new furniture is now in place, except for the guest bed. That should hopefully be delivered this week. The guest room is going to be so cute! Can't wait to see it all put together.

:: I have decided to start back up on another round of P90X tomorrow...looking forward to it. I'm hoping to see a little more definition now that I am down some weight...less fat on the body = more visable results!

:: Time to go do my nails...have a great week ahead!!!
