:: I enjoyed yet another Friday off on the 19th! Loving that! Chris took off as well and we had a great day. He worked on the shop -- getting the rooftop deck ready. There is a handful of things that need to be done before it can be bricked. We are hoping the roofer will be back this week. Chris was able to get a lot accomplished on it. I worked on more scarves -- got 6 more done! That makes 13 now. Watched lots of Friends in the process :) I did go out in the shop and knot one out there to spend some time with my man! That evening, we had dinner at Skeets and Chris took me a few places to look for more yarn - Michaels and Hancocks. And after dinner, he even took me to Target to mosey around...bought a pair of pj pants and In Style magazine...
:: Saturday, after sleeping a little late, I got up and went for a massage. The guy was pretty strong, and I felt beat up afterwards. But, I wasn't there for a relaxing massage, I wanted him to work on the knots in my shoulder/neck/back and that he certainly did. Hopefully it helped a bit. If not, I'll have to head to the chiropractor. From there, came home and worked a bit on a wine label for the wines Chris is making, made the grocery list, and watched World's Strictest Parents on CMT. Had never seen that show before but I ended up watching three episodes -- good stuff! That evening, we had dinner at Casa and then met up with Lauren and Greg for game night. Very nice...
:: Today, the lesson at church was on the trinity -- father, son, holy spirit -- which is a pretty complex concept. Did you know that the word "trinity" never appears in the Bible? The concept appears many times throughout, but not the actual word. After church, we did the grocery shopping, and then home to do laundry and cleaning.
:: In our Thankful book study, we learned that WORRY IS SIN. Did you know that?? Every time you worry about anything, big or small, you are sinning against God. He has asked that you give it all over to him and not be anxious, so when you disobey that, you are sinning. That was a big eye opener for me, as I tend to worry from time to time. Understanding that worry is a sin means I need to repent and turn away from it -- I need to hand it over to God, and understand that He has a plan and his will will be done, no matter what. He will be in the outcome, no matter what. And the challenges that he gives me are meant to strengthen my faith in Him.
:: Watching the Cardinal game -- so far it doesn't look to be off to a very good start. Come on Cards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's do this!!!!! Let's not go to a Game 7!
