happy thanksgiving day!

:: We had lunch with mom at Chimi's, and it was good...after she headed back to work, we bummed around town a bit. Hit West County mall, Best Buy, Nordstrom Rack, and a few other places. Then decided we needed a rest before we met with Amy and Dukes...so we went back to Mom's for a bit. Met Amy and Dukes at Wasabi at 6:30 for sushi! It was soooo yummy! And they knew what they were doing, so they were able to train us on some things. They even taught us how to use chopsticks. :) It was so nice to catch up with Amy...I miss seeing her more than once a year! She seems very happy with Dukes and that is so good to see. I think she has found the one!

:: Thursday, we woke up to a beautiful Thanksgiving in STL! Chris and Randy ran the Turkey Trot and did great! Chris ran 20:42, and Randy ran under 30 minutes!!! Very proud of them both. We enjoyed seeing all the dogs that were there, along with the runners dressed in turkey costumes :) From there, we got showered and ready, and everyone arrived around 11:00. It was so good to visit with my grandparents, my uncle Steve, and my cousin Kasey. It was a laid back good day. And my mom's Thanksgiving dinner was deliciouuuuuuuuuus! So yummy - turkey, greenbean casserole, mashed potatoes, stuffing, grandma's famous cranberry salad (mine without nuts yay!!) and of course pumpkin pie and chocolate pie. Mom truly outdid herself as she always does. This one tasted extra good for some reason...

:: Once the guests left, I did my walk/run. Seven minute run! Wore the new running shoes that I bought and it made a big difference. Felt much better...and was thankful for Chris, who has been running with me this week, timing the sections for me. He's the bestest...

:: Wine just spilled into my keyboard, so fingers crossed that it isn't ruined!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
