happy father's day!

Happy Father's Day everyone! I hope it was a great one for all the wonderful fathers out there. The wonderful father in our house had a good day, I believe!! We gifted him with sweet cards and let him pick out a plethora of plants at the garden store. We came home with a Murano full of beautiful plants. Chris really enjoys working in the yard and planting things, so it was a good gift for him.

In addition, Aspen also wrote a lot of little notes for him and taped them to his closet door...it was really cute and I think he was touched. They said some very sweet things about why she appreciates him...

Back to work tomorrow, and then I am off for the rest of the week because my mom is coming to visit us!!!! Yay, the whole household is excited, especially Ocho! Ocho LOVES my mom. He sniffs at her door in the morning and she lets him and he snuggles in bed with her :) I am hopeful that she'll win Poppy over this visit...
