:: This morning, I dropped my mom off at the airport at 8:00 am...it was sad to watch her walk into the building knowing she would be flying off to STL. We miss her already!
:: I got to work around normal time and thus began my first day back after vacation. I met with my coworker to catch up on what he'd done for me while I was out, and then tried to figure out the rest. That took up most of my morning. Had a nice relaxing lunch at home with my book, and then sat through a few meetings in the afternoon. I have a list of things to catch up on, and will have to try to tackle those tomorrow.
:: I did zumba at 5:00 and we went for a full hour. So fun! I was happy to step on the scale and see that I am a half pound lighter than my lowest weight recently, so that is good considering my eating was horrible while mom was here. I did work out 6 days last week so that must have evened it out.
:: This week I am attempting to reach three goals -- no chips, no sweets, and no bread. So far so good. I have 5.5 more pounds to go to reach my goal weight, and would really enjoy losing more than that. I am focused on my goal first though. One thing at a time :)
:: This weekend is the crop and I am looking forward to spending some time with my girls!! I am going to continue working on my Israel album...lots of work left to do on that.
:: I'm reading "The Descendants" by Kaui Hart Hemmings. This is also a movie with George Clooney as the lead guy. I'm nearing the end now, and though it hasn't been the most enthralling book I've ever read, the second half picked up a bit. The story is interesting, and we shall see how it ends.
:: Made tilapia for dinner tonight, with roasted asparagus and rice a roni...very tasty, mmm mmm!!
