tomorrow if friday!!

:: Made salisbury steak for dinner tonight, and it was pretty good. I used some of the meat we bought from the guy that came to our door, and it was sirloin burger. I didn't think it was as good as my normal salisbury steak, but it was still good. Last night I made lemon pepper chicken from same guy, and we were not fans of that at all. We have a lot of chicken from him, so hopefully the rest will be better.

:: Ocho's stomach seems to be hurting...such is the life of a chihuahua that scavenges and eats everything he comes across. I'm out of his stomach medicine, so need to stop at the vet tomorrow for some more.

:: I had an exciting moment today...I actually smiled when I stepped on the scale before my workout! That hardly ever happens. I surpassed a good round number and have gone into area (numbers) I haven't seen in a very, very long time. I am so so close to getting to my 10 pounds lost mark. Very excited. Day Four today of no bread, sweets, or chips. Will think of something to add next week! The odd thing about losing the weight I have so far...I don't feel any thinner or lighter. I can see some differences in my body, which is a good thing for sure. But I don't feel any different, really. I want to feel different!!!!

:: The free books on the Kindle - sometimes you come across a good one, but for the most part they are just a bit sub par. The writing is elementary and the plot just doesn't thicken. Started reading one last night and just decided to stop right there. Not feeling Casual Vacancy quite yet (it's the adult book written by the author of the Harry Potter books), so I may have to get on amazon and buy a new one...

:: We hung up a custom made chalk board in our department at work, and it's been a lot of fun! We have chalk markers (who knew those existed??) and they write so nicely and don't leave any chalk residue flying around. Just wipe clean with a clorex wipe. We are going to put up a different theme every other week or so and have the company come and write their thoughts. We started with a first theme of "What are you thankful for???"...it's been fun to see the comments.

:: Time to relax...bye for today!
