What a wonderful three-day weekend!
:: Friday, I posted about my day off - so if you didn't read that yet, be sure to scroll down! I was very productive on a new project and I am very excited to begin it tomorrow! Once Chris got home, we went to have dinner at Tokyo - yummy sushi! Rainbow Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Philadelphia Roll...along with salmon sashimi and some dumplings. And they brought us another appetizer by mistake that was all lit up! We didn't really like it much though so won't be getting that again. From there, we headed to Lauren's house and relaxed with some wine with Greg and Lauren. A very nice evening.
:: Saturday was crop day! I was at my friend Terry's from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm! She opened her house up to us until midnight! Chris and Aspen had a date night and so I stayed on past 6:00 and accomplished so much! Thirty pages in all for the day, I am pleased with that!!!
:: Sunday, Chris and I got up early to do our workouts - he ran for 90 minutes, which got him 11 miles. I ran for 11 minutes and walked for about 10. Slowly incorporating running back into my fitness regime, so I can prepare for the 5K on Thanksgiving Day. Then we went to church and it was a great message and worship time. We loved it! Then Chris and I went to a class on leadership while Aspen went to her youth group. It was the first in a session, and should be a good series. After church, we enjoyed a nice lunch with a coworker and his wife at Abuelos...yum! Then home for laundry and grocery shopping and getting ready for the week ahead.
:: The week ahead -- hair appointment Wednesday evening...off on Friday and scrapbooking with Kim...date night with Chris on Saturday at the Beer Summit in town...and taking lots of photos for my Week in the Life project. I am excited to see how this goes.
Hope you all have a great week!!
