catch up

:: Back to work today after my day off yesterday...I was super busy all day. More to catch up on tomorrow.

:: Just went and looked, and realized nope, I didn't blog yesterday! I had no idea. Oops! My day off was good. I went to the dentist, and met the woman who took over for my newly retired dentist. She was very nice. She did a test on my gums, which I have never had done before. All was good there. Got a good report all around. From there, I headed home and took a nap! THAT was super nice!! Then got up and did my run for the day, which wasn't as good I had hoped. After getting cleaned up, I met my friend Susan for lunch at the new McCalisters and we had fun catching up! It was really good to see her again, now that she's moved back to Abilene. Later, picked Chris up from work and we headed to a Senior meeting at the high school. They told us about applying to college and financial aid and scholarships, etc. It was an insane amount of information and a little overwhelming. We'll start looking into things and see what Aspen has available to her.

:: Tonight, we had our Life Group, and it was a good meeting. Our group is getting more comfortable with each other, and more talkative. We discussed some good things tonight.

:: Now I am watching the Cardinal game! C'mon Cards!!! This is it, hope they win!!!! I will always root for my birds.

:: My department has determined what we are going to be for Halloween this year! Last year, we just could never decide as a group, so decided to not dress up at all. I think it will be cute this year, if we can pull it off. Hopefully no one else will do the same thing!! You'll have to wait and see :)

:: I'm not sure if I've mentioned this: our end of year party is going to be a masquerade ball!!! I am excited, and I am coordinating a dress exchange at work!!! We are going to all bring dresses that we are willing to swap, and then we will all look through and try to find something we'd want to wear and that fits. Try to get as many people in free dresses as possible. I hope it is a huge success and I can't wait. We're doing it on the 18th.

:: Chris is super excited about his boy's night tomorrow...I am making brownies for them. Gotta fatten these boys up! :)

:: I am going to go relax for a bit...stressful day and more tomorrow!
