:: Back to the grind today...it was a busy day full of conference calls, meetings, and work. I am off tomorrow, so I had to get a few things sent to the vendor before I left. My wonderful people will take care of everything while I am out. Love them.
:: Looking forward to my random day off tomorrow! I have a dentist appointment at 8:30, so no sleeping in for me. That would have been nice, but oh well! Then I am going to come home and run. And then I am meeting my friend Susan for lunch at the new McCalister's Deli. Looking forward to that! The rest of my day is open so we shall see what I fill it with...
:: Chris is painting our theater room a dark gray, and it is looking so good! It is changing the feel of the whole room. Currently it is a light coffee color, like the rest of the house. The dark gray will help create more of a theater mood. After that is all said and done, we may also paint the laundry room. I am having my friend Lauren make us a custom cushion for our built in bench in there, and the colors in the fabric I chose are turquoise, orange, gray, green. From there, I'll pick out a paint color. Maybe a light turquoise. We shall see. One room at a time!
:: Please say a prayer for my sweet gramma Flo...she is currently in the hospital. She was feeling weak, and having difficulties breathing at times. It may just be her medicine needing to be tweaked. They ran some tests so hopefully they will know something soon.
:: This coming Sunday, I am leaving for Chicago at 9:50 am. My boss, Jeff, and I are heading to the Direct Marketing Association conference there. I will be back Wednesday evening before 9:00 pm. I am looking forward to the trip, because Chicago is awesome and we are going to learn a lot of awesome things! Unfortunately, I'll be missing two things. 1) Our CEO, Kris, is the speaker at our Sunday leadership class at church...and I was really wanting to hear what he had to say. And 2) the season premiere of The Walking Dead is Sunday and I can't believe I have to wait to watch it on the DVR when I get home!!! :(
:: Chris is excited, he is having a boy's night here at the house on Thursday! It will be a grill out, drink beer, and sit around and talk about big grand ideas and how to fix the world. Total man stuff. I'll be staying safely indoors while they take over the back porch!!! :)
:: I need to do some reading for my departmental book study...so more tomorrow!
