granny's great idea

My grandma is so funny...she doesn't understand a thing about computers, and certainly doesn't understand what I do in my job as a graphic designer. And that's okay...

Out of the blue, last week during our weekly phone conversation, she tells me she's got an idea. "But, I don't know if it would even be possible to do..." She proceeds to tell me that she'd like to have something created with the picture of her and the picture of me, where we are both wearing the same necklace. She wore it in 1957 to her mother's 25th wedding anniversary party, and I wore it last year to our end-of-year company celebration. She wants a little something that she can display in a frame...and it will certainly be something that I can put in my scrapbook!

I told her that certainly, it was possible! I do stuff like that everyday for my job. Above is what I've created. It's simple and straightforward, and should look pretty in a nice frame. I can't wait to get it printed out and mailed to her...just need to pick up some photo paper next time I'm out!

Isn't my granny so pretty????
