til wednesday evening

Well, I took Chris to the airport this morning...he's off on a lovely jaunt to St. Louis with his boss for a technology thing. He's gone to my hometown without me!! :( Just doesn't seem right at all, I tell you!

And he'll be having dinner with my mom on Tuesday night! Without me!

I must say, that makes me happy, though. They'll have some bonding time, which will be good for them both. Since we live so far away from my mom and can only see her once or twice a year, it's hard for them to get to know one another...

So...for three days, I'm a "single mom"...

:: I'll have that whole big bed to myself, and I'll be laying right in the middle of it...

:: I'll be shuttling Aspen to tutoring on Tuesday morning, so I'll need to get up a little earlier than usual...

:: I'll be taking care of other school things, i.e. signing her folder every night, etc...

:: Aspen and Mimi have a movie date on Monday, so I have the evening to myself! I plan to spend it at Hobby Lobby, using my gift certificates to finally buy the supplies for my Tahiti album...

:: I'll have three lunch hours to myself, so I need to figure out how to best utilize them...

:: I get to leave the old Honda Civic in the garage for three days and drive the Explorer instead...after I get gas, that is...

Things just aren't the same without my guy around though...hurry home, baby! You've got three girls missing you! And two doggies, too!

We're happy to have him! Wish he had time for a visit. Hold down the fort while he is away which I know you are more than capable of!

I know you'll miss him, but it is good that he'll get to see your Mom for dinner. Wonder what kinds of embarrassing stories she'll tell him?!

Kenneth will be gone a coupld of nights this week too, how funny is that? I'll miss him too, but that also means I don't have to cook really...that's always a good thing!

You guys will indeed miss him! I am lost when Gary is out of town. I don't like it one single bit!

I am so glad that it worked out for your Mom and Chris to have dinner! That is indeed a good bonding time for them. :)
