wednesday but feels like thursday

:: The "For Sale" sign is officially up in the yard! Looks kind of weird to see that. This is OUR house, and I guess I will always think of it that way. We built it, we picked out everything, we're the only ones who have lived here. It's weird to imagine someone else living here. Hmmm.

:: The greatest thing occurred today! At lunch, I was listening to some of the new Keith Urban songs online, and was thinking that I would really like to buy the cd. But, with the house buying/selling, we are spending no money, so I gave up that thought. Then this evening, when I got the mail, I had a card from Fonda, Dronda, and Clarence...a very nice Thank You for designing their annual reunion t-shirt art...complete with a gift card to Target!!! Guess who's getting the Keith Urban cd?? Yup yup! Thanks to them :) They sent along a photo of them in their t-shirts, and I loved seeing the final product! So neat...

:: Speaking of Keith, these are the two songs that I especially like...this one and this one...nothing like a good love song.

:: SYTYCD: so fun to see Travis come back and choreograph...I loved Travis when he was on...and thought his choreography was awesome.

:: Thursday night is our Dig Gig, and I will take pics...the Talent Show is going to be so fun, I can't wait to watch! My coworker and buddy Victor is performing, and he had me watch him practice to let him know whether it was good or not...it rocked! Can't wait to see it when he's in costume...

:: Chris has joined the Twitter craze...oh my. All this time, he's been against Facebook and Twitter. Now, he finally got onto the Twitter website and now he's hooked. I don't really get the whole Twitter thing, but if you want to follow him, it's www.twitter.com/cbaberun.

::Aspen is reading the 6th Harry Potter right now, and she is freaking out. She was just in here ranting and raving and I couldn't help but laugh. If she gets done with it soon, we can go see the movie...and then she's onto the 7th and last book...she's very concerned about whether Harry is going to die in the last book. She is a skimmer, meaning she likes to flip ahead and peek at upcoming pages. I told her that for the last book, I'm going to photocopy one chapter at a time and only let her read that, so she can't skim. She did not like that idea one bit.

:: My latest book selection from my book buddy is "The Forgotten Garden". So far, it's fairly slow going. I will give it time...
