decent monday

:: Baked BBQ chicken, steamed veggie medley, and roasted red potatoes for dinner. Yummy and clean!! Roasting veggies is my new favorite thing. So easy. Throw the veggies on a baking sheet, toss with olive oil and spices, and bake at 400 for a bit. This is my first time doing the potatoes, hopefully they'll be good. Asparagus is delicious this way.

:: Chris is outside dismantling the basketball goal. In one of our massive wind storms a few weeks back, the basketball goal fell over and crashed onto the metal frame of my hammock...the pole of the frame went right through the glass of the goal. Our wind here is ridiculous.

:: Ocho is doing so good!! He is having a good streak here and hopefully he is past the worst of it. We're keeping him in his crate while we're gone, and here and there while we are home. He does still need lots of rest, and though he thinks he is ready for rough housing and playing, we need to really monitor him so he keeps it easy for six weeks. He is feeling so good today that he thought he needed to start humping his pillow!

:: I finished the design/layout of my 40 page annual report today!!!! That felt so good. Now I just need to do some tweaking before I turn it in later this week.

:: Have sized over 100 photos and need to get them printed now. Love that. I'm also pulling out some random projects that I want to get done/updated. One is a mini album of photos of me and my mom together through the years, starting from when I was a baby. I haven't updated the book since 2003!! We've got plenty of pics since then, so need to get them printed too. The album is pretty cheesy, so think I will probably redo it as well...

:: Time for dinner, yum!!
