Sometimes, things just seem unwilling to cooperate with the best-laid plans!
I had a lot of errands to do this evening...I had it all planned out. First to the bank to deposit garage sale earnings; second to Hobby Lobby for supplies to make a birthday gift and to get next month's bunko prize; third to Lowes to get a product called No Sand; fourth to Dillards to pickup a wedding gift from a bridal registry there; fifth to Wok Express to pick up dinner; and sixth to Walgreens to pick up a prescription and some graph paper to chart out our furniture on our blueprint.
Sounds easy enough, yes?
The bank lady talked sternly to me about putting two rolls of quarters into the shute. It could've gotten stuck, she tells me. Um...ok...the teller sent ME two rolls of quarters through the shute before the garage sale, but whatever.
Everything was dandy at Hobby Lobby.
No one at Lowes knew anything about a product called No Sand. I looked everywhere. They looked at me with blank expressions. I left there emptyhanded.
I couldn't find what I needed at Dillards from the bridal registry...so I asked the woman working there. She informed me that that product was not available at that store yet, they'd be getting it in about 3 weeks. She must've registered online, she told me. Lovely.
So I made an unexpected trip to Bed, Bath, and Beyond for the other item I had written down. A griddle. And of course, BB&B did not have the damn griddle either!
So, no wedding gift was purchased, and I don't know what we'll do now about that.
Got some delicious chinese takeout, then stopped at Walgreens. All was ok there.
Could only eat about half of my chinese...another hot spell, and my head has throbbed all day long, and I started feeling a bit queasy. So, wasn't able to enjoy that :(
And now, without further ado, it's time to finish taping off the kitchen while Chris begins the sanding...

The bank is full of it! I would have not so kindly informed her that you didn't see a problem sending TWO rolls when THEY did it the first time! Then I would have said. "Back off Bitch!" Ha! Okay, maybe not the last part, but I sure to heck would have thought it!
I hope your day today is a good one!
Sorry the day wasn't so great. I always hate when I have days like that. And they only happen when you don't have time to deal with it!
Hope things get better.
Most of that sounds like something straight out of one of my days!
As for the wedding gift; if nobody has anything she registered for, a gift card would work quite nicely!
