busy day

:: My universe seems to be a little out of kilter suddenly...not sure why. And don't like it! After cracking my windshield last night, I woke up this morning hoping for a better day. Was about to head out the door to work, and quickly made my daily cup of hot tea in our one-cup maker. Went about my business, and came back a few minutes later to find tea all over the counter. Hmm. Chris pulled my travel mug out of the machine, and lookie there, I forgot to take the lid off!! So, I was late to work because of having to clean up that mess...but luckily, my sweet husband didn't make me feel too stupid!

:: Made pizza for dinner this evening with whole wheat pizza crusts. They were yum! I made two pizzas and did it in four different halves: cheese, pepperoni & mushroom, pepperoni & black olive, and mushroom & black olive. Very tasty!

:: I'm reading "Love & War" by John and Stasi Eldredge. I really love the way they write, and really think I will learn some good stuff in this one. It's about marriage (love) and how it is continually attacked by the devil (war).

:: Work has been insane and I feel like I'm not ever able to get anything accomplished. I hope this isn't foreshadowing of how my life will be from now on! I'm also supposed to be training with the girl who is leaving soon...I have a whole lot to learn from her, and I fear that November will arrive and she'll leave and I will be clueless. That little fact is really starting to freak me out a bit!!

:: Time is ticking down to my mom's visit!! Will see her this Sunday and she'll be here for 6 days!

:: I scrapbooked a little on Sunday! I had gotten all of my chores out of the way on Saturday, so was able to relax on Sunday and that was pure joy. I was able to get four pages done...not too bad. A Christmas spread from 2009 and a spread from our Linkin Park concert. I won't be attending the crop this month, so it felt good to whip out a few pages.

:: I am really loving the fact that I don't have to work out in the evenings when I get home. Yes, 5:30 a.m. is awfully early to wake up, but then my workout is out of the way and I have no excuses for not getting it done. For instance, after working until 6:00 this evening, I would easily have shoved my workout under the rug. But ahhh...it's already done!!! Time to relax...

Wow...you make me tired with all you can do. I am so proud of your workouts and commitment...awesome. I am hoping after the holidays to join our YMCA, but as of now trying to save money. I am getting my walks in, which is good, but nothing like you. I am inspired. :)
