our weekend

:: Happy Halloween!

:: Friday evening, Chris had to work all evening on technology stuff at work, so it was a quiet evening. He didn't get home until 1:30 a.m., and what they had worked on all night didn't even work. Very frustrating for him.

:: Saturday, our buyers came by at 11:00 to see the things the inspector had found. We have to do just a few minor things. It is official now, there is a SOLD sign in our yard!!!

:: Then Chris and I did 20 miles...him running, me on the bike. I took a P90X break and decided to go with him instead. 20 miles is just such a long way on your own, I knew he would need the company. It was super windy though, and made for a not too fun experience. And I forgot to put on sunscreen, so now I have a pretty knarly sunburn. Lovely!!

:: Saturday, we also went to look at the house we are hoping to rent. If all goes according to plan, it will work out great. They are waiting on feedback from one couple that looked at it next week, and as long as they aren't wanting to buy, it will be a done deal. Fingers crossed!

:: Saturday evening Chris and I had a lovely dinner together at Cotton Patch...talked and watched some of the World Series. Then stopped at Lowes for a few things.

:: Sunday, after church, we started packing!!! It is now beginning to feel real. We'll be closing on the house on November 16th, which gives us just two weeks to get ready to move!!!!

:: Today was the end of month two on P90X, and so I took my next round of photos. Unfortunately I still don't see any difference in the photos and that is so discouraging! I'm feeling stronger and can do the workouts so much easier now, but why no physical results that people can see? And certainly no movement on the scale. If I can get myself dedicated this third month, I need to get on the strict eating plan.

:: Lots and lots and lots to do in the next two weeks, so I will post as often as I can squeeze it in!!
