:: Aspen's cross country meet was another minimal effort...she was lost in the pack and as Chris described, "out for a Sunday jog"...we aren't sure what's going on with her, but her season is running out. I know we expect a lot of out her, and you would too if you realized that she was beating girls who are coming in Top 10...and yet she is now back in the pack around 30th place. It makes no sense.
:: Speaking of "no sense"...this morning I took my Day 30 photos for my P90X journey. I am feeling a bit disgruntled and blah after seeing the results. There isn't much difference from the Before photos, honestly. I have been so dedicated to this process, getting up at 5:30 every morning and working out for an hour. I have not lost any weight (actually I am one pound UP), and then my results photos don't show much improvement? Sigh. Upon closer inspection, I was able to see a little progress here:

This is all I am willing to share, photo-wise, at this time :) I refuse to get discouraged. I am going to stay strong and carry on. We'll see what I think on Day 60 and then Day 90. I am good and settled into my workouts now, and going into my second month, I am going to begin the strict eating plan. Clean Eating, here I come. I've got to hope that that will have some contribution!!!
:: Chris is home from his conference in St. Louis...I was so happy for his return!! He was able to take Friday off to spend with me and my mom...we had fun going through his Africa photos and telling mom Uganda stories...
:: Showed the house today...won't someone please buy our house????
:: Back to work tomorrow! I enjoyed my week off, and am feeling relaxed. Back to the grind stone. I have lots of learning to do, and time is ticking away...

I'm so glad that you and your mom were able to spend such a fun week together! I know it can get discouraging, but you are doing great with P90X!
Have a wonderful week!
I totally see a difference...maybe not as obvious as it will be in 2 more months, but it is there. Just the fact you are so committed to this is awesome and something you should be so proud of doing. I am proud of you and a bit envious I don't have the will power to take it on too...you are inspiring. :)
