non-stop day

:: Sometimes Wednesdays turn into really long days. Today was one.

:: Woke up at 5:20 to work out, and had severe stomach pains. Not sure what the deal was, maybe side effects of the steroid shot? At any rate, I only lasted about 15 minutes on the workout and finally gave up. Miraculously, they were gone when I woke up again. Very weird. I am not thrilled to have missed a workout.

:: Chris had his book study with the guys this morning (which has turned into more of a 'let's have breakfast at the Dixie Pig and forget the books' kind of book study) :), and he was gone before I woke up...so didn't see him today until 9:00 p.m. I sure don't like that one bit!!

:: At lunch, my department went to Abuelos for our Halloween pumpkin win, and it was a grand fun time. Yummy food and great company. Faith's husband Josh joined us, since he helped so much with the pumpkin...he is a hoot!

:: Had VIPs in the building today, and had to assist in our presentation at 4:30...didn't get out of there until 6:00 and then headed straight to bunko. Bunko was fun, and I got a wonderful prize!! We were all in crazy fun moods, so it was a good time.

:: Got home at 9:00 after stopping at Walgreens for my sinus infection antibiotic...only to read the pamphlet and it says in all cap letters "DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICATION IF YOU HAVE HAD AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO PENNICILLAN". Lovely. It is clearly listed in my chart, and I also retold the nurse yesterday. Somehow they still prescribe me a pill that I can't take??? So, I'll have to call on that tomorrow...not to mention I am out $15 on a pill I can't take!!

:: I might be able to squeeze in a little packing in the next 20 minutes...and then it's to bed I go because I am POOPED!!!
