catch up

:: We did a little after-Christmas shopping on Sunday...returned Chris' Kindle case at Best Buy and exchanged for the same case that has a light. Now he is a happy boy!! Aspen and Mimi took a little trip to Amarillo to see Mimi's sister, and Chris and I have enjoyed having the house all to ourselves for a change. Very very rare indeed!

:: We both used up some personal time at work on Monday, and had a nice day off together. We spent the majority of it trying to figure out what stone we want on our house. We went to the stone store and drove around noting the houses we liked. I think we have narrowed it down to THE ONE. It will be so pretty! Now we need to figure out what brick will compliment it.

:: Chris went home to run and I went to the mall to spend some Christmas money/gift cards/performance plus money. I have done pretty good so far, and still have a good chunk left! I bought a pair of jeans at Express with a gift card...three sweaters from Pennys...a cardigan from Dillards...and another angora cardigan at Victoria's Secret. I am not sure what I will use the remainder on...maybe a purse or some shoes?

:: Back to work tomorrow for three days, and then I have Friday off again...fun fun!!

:: I've been sleeping late, reading magazines, and reading on my Kindle...life is good!
