wrapping up

:: Well, we said that we weren't going to do Black Friday...but we did get out in it for a bit :) We slept in a bit and had breakfast, then bummed around the house and relaxed. Around noon, we headed out to Chesterfield Mall and hit just a few stores there. We didn't think that it was insane really, just busy. We had lunch at California Pizza Kitchen and it was yummy!!! Once we got home, it was more relaxing...and a nice evening with Mom and Randy. I played a few rounds of rummy with my mom, to add to our ongoing score. It was nice spending some time together!

:: Saturday, we woke up, had breakfast and starting packing up all of our stuff. It's amazing how much stuff three little people have!!! Got it all loaded in to the car, and got on the road around 10:00 am. After stopping for gas a few times, and lunch at Steak-n-Shake in Joplin, we finally arrived home at 11:00 pm. It was a long ride/drive, but it was good to be home and see Mimi and our two sweet pups!!!!

:: Sunday, after a good night of sleeping in our own beds, we got busy with the laundry, grocery list, putting all the receipts into the checkbook, etc etc. Lots to catch up on when you are gone for a week! Back to work tomorrow, so getting things ready for the week.

:: We will be having our last book study at lunch on Monday, and then our very first luncheon of the year will be on Tuesday in our newly remodeled area!!! Very excited for that!!! Kim, Aspen, and I (and maybe Kelsey) are going to see Breaking Dawn on Monday evening, we are so excited!! Should be a good week ahead, getting back into the routine...

:: We had such a great visit to STL! It seemed to go by so quickly, but every day there was filled with laughter and visiting. Loved it!!!! I have a lot of pics to go through and will try to post them in batches so I can get them on here for you to see!!
