Stitch Fix Review #9

True Story Stitch Fix #9 Review

My October Fix turned out to be a great one! I'm very excited to share it all with you!

For this fix, I made some very simple requests:
: No pants or dresses (since I'm trying to lose a little weight)
: All tops (Fall sweaters, vests, long sleeves)

Kallie continues to get to know me better with each fix, and she really takes note of my preferences. I think she did great on this Fix for me! I'm definitely sticking with her!

Octavia Coleman Weave Plaid Infinity Scarf Stitch Fix

Octavia Coleman Weave Plaid Infinity Scarf -- Light Green -- $34.00
This infinity scarf was soooo soft! Huge and snuggly. Kallie knows that green is my favorite color, but unfortunately I didn't really like the color combo in this one. The red, blue and mustard just didn't work for me. :( Also, this scarf is so big I would probably have worn it with my winter coat...which is more of an olive green, so this definitely clashed. I would have kept this if it was different colors. However, I posted this on a Stitch Fix online board and was able to find someone who loved it! So -- VERDICT: KEPT BUT SOLD

41Hawthorn Lizzy Colorblock Striped Sweater Stitch Fix

41Hawthorn Lizzy Colorblock Striped Sweater -- Blue -- $68.00
I love this sweater!! I had posted this sweater on my Pinterest board, in a different color scheme. I had never seen this gray/blue/turquoise version, and I love that this is the one Kallie sent to me! It is soooo soft and fits me perfectly. It will be cute on its own, or I can also wear it with a vest. Love it! Anything with turquoise is A++ in my book! VERDICT: KEPT!!

41Hawthorn Shara Herringbone Vest Stitch Fix

41Hawthorn Shara Herringbone Vest -- Dark Grey -- $68.00
I am really loving the vest trend, and I am very excited about this vest that Kallie chose for me! It's very lightweight, which is perfect. The puffer vests are really cute, but this is more classic and can be worn to work too! I also really love that there isn't a big collar on this one. It is a small tweed pattern, and I just love everything about it. VERDICT: KEPT!!

Market and Spruce Denver Cable Knit Elbow Patch Cardigan Stitch Fix
Market and Spruce Denver Cable Knit Elbow Patch Cardigan Stitch Fix

Market and Spruce Denver Cable Knit Elbow Patch Cardigan -- Brown -- $58.00
This cardigan is such a classic...it's a heavy cable knit, with fantastic wooden buttons (like on Irish sweaters). It's a very pretty deep gray color and it has elbow patches which are popular right now. This one fits perfectly as well! Very snuggly. VERDICT: KEPT!!

RD Style Minno Cowl Neck Pullover Sweater Stitch Fix
RD Style Minno Cowl Neck Pullover Sweater Stitch Fix

RD Style Minno Cowl Neck Pullover Sweater -- Light Pink -- $78.00
I really like this sweater a lot! The fit is wonderful -- not too bulky and very slimming. It fits perfectly, and I love the small hem rise on the sides. I was on the fence about the cowl neck and the light pink color though. Pastel colors really don't do it for me, but I liked the sweater enough that I thought about keeping it. However, Chris gave this piece two thumbs down because of the cowl neck and the color. So, I put this one online as well and was able to find a buyer...so VERDICT: KEPT BUT SOLD!!

So...because I was able to keep all five pieces, I qualified for the 25% discount!! My first 5/5 purchase (even though I didn't keep all 5 pieces for myself). I passed the discount on to my two buyers, and am so happy with my remaining three pieces!!! Thrilled with Fix #9!!

And just for fun -- me with my enthusiastic Stitch Fix photographer/hubby!! :) He is always such a good sport and I appreciate his willingness to humor me in my fashion shows!

Looking forward to my November fix! :) Thanks for everything, Kallie!
